About Famcu Foundation
Our aim is improving the livelihoods of children through education and enhancing the economic empowerment of women in Odokomit, Lira District in Uganda. Uganda has one of the fastest growing population in Africa.

Odokomit has a growing population of children under 16yrs of age.

This results in the number of children per classroom becoming untenable for some schools, children sit on the floor because of the lack of desks.

Most parents cannot even afford school fees, and needs such as uniforms, books, shoes, bag packs, and pens.
In light of the above challenges, this foundation supports children with educational needs & entrepreneurial skills to women.

Our Story
This foundation was started in Memory of two youths Daudi Okello and Jildo Irwa who are martyrs of Uganda and loved the children and youth a lot and sacrificed their lives to provide them with basic education and faith. Our Foundation is registered under number 80020003807683.
